Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Dyrand provides the CIO (Chief Information Officer) level expertise for all of its clients. Quarterly reviews are performed with the necessary Dyrand and client staff that includes the review of everything IT: infrastructure, databases, communication networks, documentation, hardware and software, etc. Dyrand tracks each and every activity of its clients’ activities, we can run the necessary reports and find and analyze trends to enable us to help clients make decisions based on actual facts.
Dyrand spends a considerable amount of time and money ensuring we also stay current on all IT advancements and technologies, enabling us to offer sound advice that corresponds to the clients businesses. In order to keep our company and individual certifications, we have to do yearly upgrades of all of the certifications.
We spend a considerable amount of time learning each of our clients’ businesses to be able to help plan for future changes, upgrades, etc. as well as help develop a proper IT budget. We work directly with the C level people including but not limited to the COO, CFO, CEO, etc. and act as if we were an employee of the company. After all, the success of our clients also ensures the success of Dyrand: we are truly the full service IT department for each of our clients.
Dyrand has clients in virtually every industry you can think of, from construction and manufacturing to professional services such as finance and legal. While the underlying foundation of systems for each industry is very similar, Dyrand works with each one to ensure the IT needs match the business requirements, not the other way around.
As the virtual IT department for each client, we manage all of the vendors required for the overall IT infrastructure. We work with the client to get the documentation necessary to act on behalf of the client to ensure that when necessary, we can be the liaison to all the vendors, removing the time consuming tasks on behalf of the client. We track the performance of these vendors and make the necessary recommendations should they be failing in their SLA’s or delivery.
As part of the CIO role, Dyrand will participate and in many cases, lead the way in IT Strategic Planning and Management. It is our role to ensure all executives are aware of all the possible solutions and risks associated with each one, so our clients can make educated and sound decisions. It’s our goal to continually reduce the risk and complexity of our clients’ infrastructure, while at the same time increasing the reliability and redundancy of their systems.
